Summer Daze - very Red Hot Chili Peppers; cool. The mix and production need to be better, but I'm sure I don't need to tell you, that; this is a Polaroid, not a portrait. With that said, Jon, this is a very cool tune. I really like your vocal (if it's you). It's very laid back, very in the pocket and relaxed. Near the end of the song, everything get a little out of time; drums ahead of everything, but I'm sure you know that, as well. It's a charming song; your bass (assuming that's you) is great! Keep plucking away, my man; it's a catchy little piece.
hey thanks man!! Im glad you like it! I listened to your songs and I think there very well put together. I also dig your recording quality!! Yeah I have been leaning more on getting the songs recorded than the editting aspect on things... As far as the acoustic songs go I'd rather them have the live feel for right now. None of the songs that I have posted are precisely editted as far as timing goes, and thats because Im trying to nail them as close as I can so when I do edit it has more feeling if that makes sense?.. Plus when I am editting I always come up with a new idea than drift to that, and I think when you got the creative bug you should roll with it! I love your critique man, and hope to hear from you again soon!
