Hi Roy, You are always so helpful and wonder if you could answer my query. If I quote my broadjam link to my non-broadjam friends via email, would they be able to listen to my songs without being a broadjam member. Well, as they are not musicians, they may not want to pay a fee to become a member. However, I like introducing my songs to my friends through broadjam's website cause there is a very detailed data sheet attached to each song which is certainly very useful. Thanks. Cecilia
Cecilia, Thanks for the note and the questions.....Fans don't have to pay to belong to Broadjam. In fact to listen to a song, they don't even have to join. Obviously, we would prefer they join so we do have some features in place to encourage them to do so. (For example: To use the playall button, they must join. To listen to an individual song, membership is not required, etc.) Log out and go to the Broadjam home page and you will see the sign up mechanism they will use......Also, you can use the transmit mechanism to send your songs to your friends as well. Click on your edit profile (top of page), click on My Content (bottom), then Songs, then Transmit. This will send songs to friends of your choosing. Send one to yourself and you'll see what I mean.....Here is another thought that might be helpful. Chose one of your songs and make it available for free and invite your fans to download it. Not only will you get them here, you will get some new ones that are already here. Also, if you change your designated free song on a regular basis, this will keep you near the top of the free song list.....Get some more photos up. You currently have one. It's a great shot and certainly taken by a pro. Post some more.....Lastly, if you have a new album released, post it and sell it digitally on Broadjam......I hope this helps and keep me posted on your progress. Best of luck, Roy
Dear Roy, Thanks for your prompt and detailed reply. Just one query. I discovered my song "The Light of Life" which has been entered into the 6-pack contest (can 1) disappeared on the list. Yesterday, it appeared on the 21st position with an average rating of 2.40. Wondered what had happened??
The leaderboard in the 6-Pack is updated periodically everyday. Your position is based on the average review score of your song vs. others in the competition. If you received a review lower than 2.4, then obviously your average score dropped, which would lower your position in the competition. Or someone else moved up the latter with a higher score which would lower your position as well. There are thousands of reviews that come in daily, so the leaderboard changes on a very regular basis....You can refer to the 6-Pack rules for more clarification or check out the 6-Pack blog as well. Many of the members are always willing to help anyone who has a question......Best of luck, Roy
Roy, What I mean is "The Light of Life" didn't even appear on my own submission ranking list. It disappeared and I could not even view its existence in the competition, only two songs appeared on my list now. How can I check its position or ranking if the name of the song did not even exist. Plus, my total score dropped from 6 to 5 points since I entered the competition. I have entered 6 songs in total so I believe I should at least get 6 points plus over hundred reviews in the past 10 days. I understand the score is 1 week behind but my points were definitely way more than 6 when I viewed it yesterday (in 3 digits but sorry I didn't remember the exact score). I understand your point that ranking may go up and down but shouldn't total score only go up as more reviews come in we will at least be added 1 point from each review. Have I mistaken how the system works? Appreciate if you could explain this to me. Thanks so much for your clarification. Cecilia
Roy, To avoid confusion when I mentioned "score" in my last message, I was referring to the total points. I understand the score should be the total points to divide the total no. of reviews to work out the ranking. Hope you will understand why I am totally confused now...Cecilia
Cecilia, Thanks for the clarification. The Light of Life was flagged as inappropriate as it has electric instruments in it. The unplugged contest is all acoustic instruments. It may have mistakenly been entered into challenge 1 instead of challenge 2, where anything song is eligible for that contest.....Hope this helps, Roy

Listened to your songs via Roy's connection and read your profile. Quite like your song and agreed that most fantastic music were written in 70-90s. I like them too.
