Thanx so much for your Review of our Song "Shine." Appreciate the Feedback. That's a Song we plan to rework so that it's a bit more direct so your comments were right on the money. We're in LA. Lets do some shows together. Best, Frank/ Black Valentine
Hey guys, Absolutely! Glad to help. Hit us up at https://www.facebook.com/shiverLA/ if you ever need another band to fill a night! \../, Justin / Shiver
Shiver, thanks for the review of Preacher's Wife Blues. The story of my life...except now he's retired! I grew up in Van Nuys! Mrs Kate
Thank You so much for your positive review of my song "California Cool"- I appreciate your comments!!!
Thanks Black Valentine for the review on my song Down in Flames. Appreciate the feedback and best of luck to you guys.
You're very welcome. Hope what I had to say helped. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to Review Songs here. It seems a lot of people are putting Demos up instead of Radio Ready Recordings. The Rating System seems to be all about the Recording Quality and less about Song Structure, etc. which makes me want to talk more about the actual Recording than the Song. So some of my Reviews may come off a bit harsh. The last thing I'd want to do is discourage anyone.
Hey, Will. Thanx for your review of Single File. We very much appreciate the kind words. Frank tHe CoNStAnT
Hey, Austin. We gotta stop meeting like this!! Ha, ha!! Thanx again for the kind words and perfect review. Really appreciate it. It reviews like yours that put us in the Top 10. You rule!! Frank tHe CoNStAnT
No problem Frank. Bands like yours SHOULD rule the top 10! Hope to see you on the "Overall" top 10 soon...
That is really kind of you to say. Thanx so much!!!
Just wanted to stop by and say thanx for your review of Single File. We really appreciate it.
No problem. We enjoyed it. Hope you have good luck with it. I responded to your notification, I hope you got it. Thanks Rusty and Spark
You have a really individual style which is cool, just run through your tracks and you guys deserve every success you have. :o)
Thanx so much for the kind words, Adam. Really appreciate it. Seems like most of the people here really view this as a community rather than a competition. That's very encouraging. Too many are afraid to give an inch in fear that they'll miss their own opportunity. That's no way to be. We need to stick together. I listened to your songs. You have a great sense of melody and harmony both Vocally and Musically. I really love all of the accompanying Guitar melodies that run thru all of your songs. They really add so much. Best of luck, man. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help. Frank tHe CoNStAnt
Hi Frank, thanks for taking the time to listen; you're right, in general most people here are great, and in general reviews are fair and more importantly constructive, which separates BJ from other sites/forums where too many people are critical without reason (other than boosting their own ego's!!). Shared success is better than no success after all :o) hence why I have stuck a few half unwritten tracks up for collaboration, and am working on suggested ideas currently. (so if you hear something and have an idea let me know ;o) ) All the best Adam
Hey, guys. Just got a chance to listen. Great recordings and great songs. Very accessible and current. Nicely done!! Keep in touch. Frank/ tHe CoNStAnT

Just did a review of Fire Sale! Funny story though... I knew I had heard it before but couldn't place it for the life of me. Pretty cool when I finished up and was able to see what band it was! Nice work guys I really like that one.
Thanx, Austin. Really great review. We all very much appreciate it. Frank/ tHe CoNStAnT
Hey, Man!! Nice to hear from you again. Thanx so much for the great review of Marigolds. Love the comments!! Really appreciate it. Frank/ tHe CoNStAnT
Your welcome!
Hey, man. Thanx so much for your glowing review of our song Single File. 5/5!! Really appreciate it!! Frank/ tHe CoNStAnT
Just checked out all of your songs. Really love how you put your music together. Sounds are all very lush. At first I was missing a Vocal but then I got into what you were doing and realized the songs didn't even need it. I thought each song I was listening to was gonna be my favorite until I moved on to the next. They are all really good and I can't pick. Very interesting changes right where it's needed while definitely giving what the listener wants in all the right places. Great stuff!!!
Heh wow, thnx for the props. Most of those are just demos or me trying out new gear. Just listened to rest of your songs, awesome sound!
Hey guys, just listened to all your songs. Here's what I've concluded: - You guys do what you love and love what you do, and other people will too - You've got some pretty insane guitarist - You've got a drummer who takes it all out on the drums and I wouldn't be suprised if he's broken a few sets :) I love the guitar riffs, driving drums and catchy melodies with amazing harmonies Wish you guys luck with your music
Yeah, that's pretty much us. Ha, ha. We've always said if we're diggin' what we're doing, someone else will too. Thanx so much for taking the time to check us out and the kind words!!
no problem man
Thanx for the Review for Single File. Love your stuff, man. Really well put together. "The Surface" keeps building. Very cool. Love the middle piece with the Rock Beat. I expected "Goodbye" to be just Piano, but was pleasantly surprised when the Drums came in. really brought it to another level. It's really good. Gotta Say All Alright is my favorite, tho. Love the Piano Melodies. Keep in touch. Frank tHe CoNStAnT
Wow, thanks so much!
Sure, man. Your Piano work is kinda David Lanz/ Suzanne Cianni with a Dance Beat and House Synths. Interesting combination that works pretty well.
Got your review of "Cheesy 80's Fire". You're spot on... it's a demo for sure ... thought I'd throw it out there for feedback.. thanks for the review...
Sure, man. Hope I could help.
Hey, man. Thanx so much for the Glowing Review of Single File. Really Glad you liked it. Like what you're doing, too. The Marine's Anthem is pretty cool. Never thought of covering that. Good job!! Love the Chorus to Wolf a lot, but the verse is a bit too much like Hurt by NIN. I'm sure you've heard that before. Anyway, our CD gets released next month. We're just in LA and definitely want to get out to the Inland Empire and play. Maybe we can do some gigs together or maybe you can suggest some places to play? Anyway, check out our Website and you'll get a good idea of what we're like. www.theconstantband.com Lets stay in touch. Thanx again, Frank tHe CoNStAnT
Hey Frank, Just checked out your site... you guys are gonna go all the way, I know it! Just keep doing what you do man and it'll happen... Also, I wanted to stop in and say "thank you" for listening to my other song I have posted... as you can probably tell, Trent Reznor is one of my big influences. I had this tune in my head for days, laid some tracks and noticed it sounded too close to "Hurt", so I made a lot of changes and hoped for the best! I really like the way it turned out and I really appreciate your comments on it. As for rockin the Inland Empire... original music isn't really the scene around here. Mostly people here want to hear cover songs, so... from just looking over your website, it might be a waste of time for a band of your caliber... You guys should check out the hot-spots in the San Diego area where you would be more accepted and appreciated for what you do. I guarantee you'll have a kicka** time down there! Won't take you long to get a fan base going. Please keep me updated because I would love to see your live show! Wish I COULD jam with you guys but I've been solo for a while now, focusing all my attention to the recording and production side of the house now... when (if) I get my own business rolling, I'll definitely keep you in mind! --- Austin
Thanx for the heads up on the 909 and San Diego. Hope you can make it to a show. I'll keep you posted. Trent's influenced just about everyone. There are elements of his production in Single File (that you reviewed). You certainly could pick worse musicians to be inspired by ha, ha!! Thanx for the kind words. Keep doing what you do man. Talk to ya soon, Frank tHe CoNStAnT
Ha Ha! Love the comment! You are certainly right... Keep in touch. In the meantime I'll be lookin out for your CD and any upcoming shows. Thank you, ---Austin
Thanks for taking the time to review "Stand In Pride". Glad it kinda grabbed you. We recorded live with two Roland Edirols, all a big experiment and now are messing with the mastering (thought I'd shove it up here prior to start getting feedback). My voice is my voice and it's a character one and either grabs you or doesn't. Buff Allan, one of Canada's foremost jazz drummers was on drums, Ian Cameron (reknowned in Jamaica) was on bass and Les Cornell (classical guitar and composer) played the guitar. Now we have to see if we can get a more even sound with the mastering....if so then Edirol will be a method of choice for recording....it does 48 bit and you get the joy of playing live :D
Wow, no one's ever replied to my review before. Hope what I had to say helped. I tried to be honest yet constructive. Best of luck!!
Hey thanks for a thorough and very useful critique of ¨New Morning Sun!!!!
