Hello. I'm actually new to Broadjam as a whole, and what brought me here is your song "Every Day Of My Life", which I discovered on a lyrics website and found it here. It's a really great song and I'm so happy to have it in my music collection!
Good to see us British in the Country Traditional Top Ten Charts here! I loved your Photographs, Mem'ries.....just now. I thought Intro was going to be Irish! It was a nice Lyric with an easy to listen to melody. Def deserved 5 stars. Hope to hear more. Jim
Thanks speak soon. In Hospital now Alan.
Yes, when you are ready! Jim
Hi Alan, Many thanks for the stars for Glendalough, much appreciated. Bob
Hey Alan, I was logged in to BJ and noticed you passed along some stars for Numb. Thanks for taking a listen! I'm glad you like the song. Best, Jim
You're welcome. Very strong song. aLAN
Thanks to Darren, David, Ronald, George for the stars and/or playlists for Avalon Dawn. I appreciate your support. Apologies to anyone I may have missed. Alan
Dear Alan, what about the Corey's, we feel so left out here!!! We have always tried our best to be good custodians of your music career and lend positive and helpful suggestions to you at all hours of the day, knowing that you are on the other side of the planet!! We'd truly appreciate a rewriting of this last Blog!! We await this correction!! Toodles, The Corey's PS, you can tell I was a tad bored today to take the time to write this text!!! Do you have any ideas for a song???
Dear Margie and Art Sometimes I can’t tell if you are winding me up! I’m truly sorry if you feel left out. That post was an update as I had already thanked several members previously, and I included an apology just in case I had overlooked anyone. I knew that I had personally thanked you last weekend in the private messages that we exchanged, and did not believe that the public gesture was necessary. I always appreciate your support and, in particular, the helpful observations with my recent tracks, which have been an experimental divergence for me. You have asked for ideas for a song. How about – ‘I’m a stirrer and I wind people up’? Alan
Dear Alan, I am just reading your message right now! Sorry that I didn't see your text earlier. Again, forgive me if my message fell flat on the world of sit-down comedy!! I guess I'm no Peter Sellers, that's for sure!! I need to put more Hee Hee's after my written text!! That's the short-coming of the Internet, one doesn't know if one is serious or kidding???? Hope we are all back on track and maybe I'll try not to be Mister Unfunny Bone in the future!! And hopefully now, I'm hearing a small chuckle from the Ethernet??? Hee Hee!! Stay Safe Sir, and wear that Mask..... Art Corey...........
Cyndi Thanks so much for the stars and playlist adds for Avalon Dawn. That is one of an experimental set of three Classical-Medieval pieces that I have produced, while I am temporarily (I hope), short of lyric ideas for new songs. It's very enjoyable trying something different. Alan
Hi Alan, The Medieval energy in your piece, brings visions to me of castles and ladies in waiting! Lovely, and kudos to you, for, as you say, "trying something different"! Thank you for the *****s/!
Thank you again Cyndi. Your choice of words has unbelievably described exactly what was in my head, and what inspired me to compose these pieces. You should read the song description for my track ‘Lady Viviane’, and you will see what I mean. Alan
Yes, indeed, with description and.....another lovely, ancient melody!
Thanks for the additional stars and playlist adds. I appreciate your support.
some great lyrics on the note tune buddy...damn good lyrics, "nothing you meant to forget..." lovely work Alan xoxo wh
Thanks, and thank you for the 5*. I wrote that one about 40 years ago and never got round to doing anything with it. Alan
dry spell? well i can hear in your main "melody" structure on The Spell, a bonified folk/rock SONG! IMO anyway...nice job Alan, cheers from California
Thanks for the 5* Warren for 'The Spell' and 'Lady Viviane'. I'm enjoying working on these instrumentals, and have a few more to follow in the near future. Alan
Thanks to Margie and Art, and to Darren, for the 5* on 'Lady Viviane' and 'The Spell'. Always appreciated. Alan
ALAN: THANKS FOR THE FINE RATING OF "YOU SHOULD BE WITH ME"...I APPRECIATE IT...
Good song George, and thank you for the *s for NOT EVEN A NOTE and Lifetime Lover. Alan
ALAN: YOU'RE WELCOME...ROCK ON...
Hi Tristyn Long time - no hear! Thanks for the 5*s on my two latest uploads. Always appreciated. Alan
Thank you for your 5* on "Gethsemane" I love the vision the song evokes...🎶🎶🎶Delta
Always welcome ðŸ‘
Hi David and friends Thank you for the 5* and playlist add for ' A cup of coffee'. Another one produced by your namesake, and I think it's his son playing the guitar solo. Alan
Hi Alan, Thanks the stars for It Won't Be Me Who Says Goodbye. I posted it quietly as it needs more work, there's a new mix very soon. Cheers, Bob
Thanks to Thierry, Jim and Darren for rating my new recording of A CUP OF COFFEE ft Ele Ivory. Alan
I've just uploaded another new track 'NOT EVEN A NOTE' produced by Chris Folsom at The Underground Treehouse. I wrote this nearly 40 years ago, but I've never been happy with my own attempts at recording it. Alan
Another great professional version Alan. I’ll listen again on my pc tomorrow, my iPad won’t let me give stars or PL adds. :)
Thanks Darren, I'm really pleased with the singers on my last two songs. They are both independent recording artists rather than demo singers, and I think it shows in the way they have approached the songs. Alan
You always find good artists. I loved “ face of an angel†that was great too. :)
Thanks for the 5* on 'A cup of coffee'. I'm really pleased that was able to get Ele to sing it for me. Alan
She did a great job--being a nymrod to ask, is she famous--sounded so!! Xoxo
Not yet, but she's good enough. She's a singer/songwriter with a few releases, and has an album due for release.
very nice, stay safe, JUST got my #2 vax...
I got my first 9 weeks ago so should get my second soon.
very nice story and peppy tune Alan! WELL DONE! nicely produced too! WH
Thanks for the 5* Alan
Many thanks to Susan, Margie and Art, George, Marilyn, Bob and David for the 5* on A Cup of Coffee ft Ele Ivory. I appreciate your support. Alan
Thanks, Alan, for the stars on "Your Guitar" - appreciated! Susan
For the early birds who have already listened to my latest song 'Lifetime Lover', I've just uploaded an improved mix. Alan
Hi Cyndi Thanks for the stars and playlist adds for Lifetime Lover. You must have listened within 1 hour of me uploading it. Alan
Most welcome, Alan. Nice!
Thanks for the stars on "Water", Alan - glad you liked it! Susan
Thank you for the *****s Alan!
You're welcome. I really enjoyed it.
Cyndi Thanks for the stars and playlist adds for White Feathers. I've been holding that one back for a while unsure of how people would react to the subject. I really appreciate your support. Alan
Sweet and melancholy Alan; a tender story. It brought back some memories for me, as well. Most welcome!

Hi all, firstly I'd like to thank Bob Bentley and Alan Gillis for the 5 star ratings of 'Dust to Dust and 'Northumberland on a windy day'. But where do I see the rating on my BJ site?, any ideas? Thanks. John.
You are welcome John. I really liked it. As for the stars, it won't show on your BJ page. All you get is the email notification. Alan
ALAN: THANKS FOR THE FINE RATING OF "I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER & A DAY"...I APPRECIATE IT...GEORGE
Thanks to all who have rated my song 'White Feathers' - Bob, David, Art, Darren, Delta, George and Thierry. Apologies to anyone I may have missed. Alan
Alan, White Feathers from Heaven, I believe in them. I can imagine how hard it was for you to pull this song off, so it sounds in your emotional vocals, very nicely rendered. I love the simple words of its lyrics, the minimalist instrumentation, the intimacy... it is all perfect !
Thank you so much. Alan
Hi Alan, thanks for the stars for Keep The Faith, much appreciated. Bob
