My Indian Reflections tune made the top 10 on Broadjam today

A bit about me...

I have played guitar from the age of 9. As a typical teenager in the sixties I was heavily influenced by the Beatles / Stones / Kinks etc and later by the magic of Motown and especially the Blues and Soul from the Stax / Sun labels etc. As a largely self taught musician I play by ear. I love to jam and solo with any band who will have me! (So get in touch!)

Keyboard playing came along - again self taught - in the nineties as a way to access home recording technolgy. Since then I have built a small but growing repertoire of my own compositions, some of which have been used in TV and films across the world.

I love just about all musical genres (but still don't get RAP) and have played pop, jazz, blues, classical and even West End show music.

Some of the bands I've been involved with in my playing career....

Omega Minus
Detroit Soul Sound
Bryan Jones Musical Ride
Mighty Mouth
Pagan Chorus (appeared on Opportunity Knocks in 1974)

Instruments played on my recordings:
Yamaha Tyros
M-Audio Sono 61
East West - orchestral and voices
Fender Strat
Line 6 600
Line 6 300 Nylon
JTV Variax
Martinez Stage Guitar
Yamaha LL Acoustic
Spanish Flamenco Guitar by Vincente Sanchis Badia

Music is the one thing in life that can transcend language. If only they would listen...

Peace to all.

Lenny - thanks for your review of my jazz instrumental "BeBop". Good constructive critique! It made the Top Ten last week. I like your stuff. Good luck. I'd welcome keeping in touch. best wishes. Al'

Hi Andy - thanks for your review of my jazz instrumental "Sunday Groove". Glad to see other UK based musos on here. I am in Somerset although a Yorkshire lad by birth. Seems we are both pursuing the same line of music. Good luck. Hope all goes well for you.
