Thank you, Rooster, for your review of 21. Unzip My Heart. In answer to your question, the singer, who's heart has grown cold from lack of love suddenly feels Cupid's arrow pierce his heart with new love and he's singing to his new love interest to fully "unzip" his cold black heart to be more open to being in love. He's felt so unloved and unloving for so many years that although his heart has been struck by Cupid's arrow, he nonetheless continues to struggle to become the warm, open, loving person he longs to be. I don't see this as a conflict as its describing a process the singer is going through to regain what has been lost to him for so long. I do appreciate your high score. Best wishes, Jay

Hey Jay, so i put several of my songs on Broadjam that ALL my friends and family said were AWESOME. All the reviews came back negative or lack luster at best. I was surprised and a little pissed honestly at first but, hey, that was their opinion right. It was then that I took a different, objective view of my lyrics. I needed to wrap my head around why there was such a difference in perspective. Then I realized that the songs where great "IF" you know the back story but unless you're famous, no one take the time to lean the back story and no one wants to hear me ramble on about the true meaning of the story prior to hearing it. They just want to hear a cool song. So the song never gets heard by the masses. The song itself has to be enough on its own. The words have to tell the whole story on there own. It makes it really hard. I guess that's why there are so many songs written yet so few ever heard. I wish you all the best my friend. I hope this helps some way. Keep going !

Thank you for your review of 'She Can Fly'. Yes maybe the lyrics are a tad obscure, but I like to put a bit of mystery into them, rather like the Steely Dan or indeed the group America...'Horse With No Name' etc. Glad you enjoyed the music and vocals. David.

Thank you for your review of my song "That's What I Call Livin". The song is about doing what you love no matter what people think. Definitely a FU to those who dont believe in you. But the tag line is "making music with my friends where the party never ends. That's what I call Livin

Thanks for your generous review off my song
; "Skinny-Dippin' Clothes", and for your comments . . . yeah, her pitch is not the greatest, you can tell it was a struggle, just not her key. The male version (of the whole song is much better).
As for the verses-I like the story too much to change it now but thanks for listening fer sure,

Hank

I know what you mean Hank and I wish the best for you.
If you get a chance, please check out my song Rooster. I'm not sure if it's quite ready for prime time or not. I was away from Broadjam for several years so it's the only one I have in right now.

Hi rooster. Thanks for the review of chicken in the pan . I wrote this song when I was invited to headline the children's stage at the Alabama chicken and egg festival in 2010. It's a fun live performance song with lots of audience Interaction and i also use a puppet. Fun fun fun . Mrs kate

Ha Ha !Right !?!? Can you review my song? I'm not sure if it's available or not. I was away from Broadjam for several years and so, had to renew everything. So right now I have just the one song in.
