hey jimmy--thanks for the review of my song--car lot blues--i wrote that for my friends in charlotte county florida--who have used car lots--they got a big kick out of it--see ya--joe.
Yo Joe! Good tune fo sho! I loved that guitar tone! Good to make your acquaintance. Thanks for hooking up on here, I'm sure we will spend many times in the future thinking, WTF??? lol If not, I have failed as a songwriter!
Thank you for your kind, thoughtful, flattering, and absolutely correct (LOL) review of "Do You Think We Could Make It This Time" (aka Facebook Reunion). I have hopes for that song, as do others. I have been considering recording one of my personal favorites, and a bit of an anthem to me, "This World Is Not My Home". Right now, I have about 70 of these sillier songs to record though. Thanks again, Jimmy
Oh, listened to your "Too Blessed To Be Stressed". WOW!!! Powerful! keep on doing the talent the Lord gave you!
Thanks for your review. I agree with most of it, and feel the other components would come together with a band. That said, thank you for your honesty, and insightful comments. I always say, If I'm looking for praise, I always have my girlfriend, lol I need negatives too.
Hi Jimmy...the cardinal rule of songwriting...rewrite, rewrite, rewrite....keep tweaking it until it's perfect.
yep, I want to do more of that, especially re-recording, but for now I'm stuck with more or less live. I have a good little pocket recorder, so I plug into mixer, and do a live take, and that's it, save a little post processing. Hoping to be able to get multi track soon though.
Hey Jimmy - Just to say thanls for your review of my song 'Ain't gonna miss you'. I really appreciate your kind comments. I hope you will check out my website at timdawsonmusic.com if you get a chance. There will be new stuff arriving there very soon and I would appreciate any coments you may have. Cheers, Tim
Hey Jimmy, Thanks for the nice review of the instrumental version of my song, "Intimate Affection". Hey, there ARE lyrics and they are fun....check out my site and search for the non-instrumental track. I think you will like it. Best, Chet Nichols Inductee - The Kansas Music Hall Of Fame
You're right man. Good call, see, "Just a little bit" really made that song for me.
Finally got recording equip, such as it is. Watch for more songs in the very near future!
