been enjoying your solid music - amen, but it do make me smile - cool stuff!
James, I'm listening now to "B in the B" as Bjam has posted a playlist of the winning songs from Can 2 of the 6-Pack. This is a really clever, well-written, -recorded and -performed song--congrats! Vince
Thanks so much Vince...your stuff is really excellent as well! And congrats to you too! Jim
the 6 pack is worth a case and more 'cuz it brings members forward that might otherwise not be heard. I consider myself a 'fortunate man' now that your craft is in the forefront. as always, PGO
Thank you for taking the time to listen to "A Fortunate Man" and for the connection request. Have been incredibly busy with projects and haven't been on here for awhile, but will take a listen to some of your work as soon as I get a chance. Best regards, Jim
P.S. Congrats on taking the #1 spot! Which song is it?
what was #1 weeks ago is now fodder for a better tomorrow and hopefully verdant seed for what might be yet to come. play on. . .
Hey Chet...thanks a bunch for the connection request and positive feedback on my song "The Stone." You were right on with your comments...I really should Mic the guitar. I checked out a couple of your tunes...Fun stuff...You're a smart fella! Best...Jim
Hi James....nice to connect with you. I like your work and how your soul speaks through your songs. Stay in touch and let me know when you post new work. Peace .... Chet
Hi Tom, Thanks for your thoughtful review of "A Bigger Picture" (The Other Side, as you called it); I wrote and recorded this song before I started studying up on commercial song structure requirements (at my wife's request), so I was happy to see that you enjoyed my more free-form writing style on this one nonetheless. I'm a product of the old days where the message was more important than the structure... :-) Jim Pearson
Thanks for your awesome review of "Busted in the Buff"...I'm glad you got the visuals and I made you laugh! I hope you have a great weekend; we're expecting some beautiful spring weather here in Montana and will be outside enjoying it for sure!
Thanks for your review of my song "Goin' To Hell With My Handbag." I appreciate your feedback. This songs actually in regular rotation on a few Vermont radio stations that are braving the "hell" on the radio. I guess Pat Benetar (Hell is for Children) and AC/DC (Hell's Bells) kind of paved the way for me. I live on a dairy farm and one morning the day started with a tractor/car accident and my husband said "Today has gone to hell in a handbag, and I'm going back to bed!" and I said, "I'm writing a song!" and that's what the song is about - making light of a bad morning on the farm :) All the best, Carol
Good point Carol! I love "Hell is for Children!" Whenever we talk about going to Helena, MT (3.5 hrs away) we always say, "we're going to Helena hand basket" LOL...To be honest, this is Jim's wife handling his Broadjam account (he's in the recording studio all day and doesn't have time for the administrative stuff, and I'm sure he would have had a lot more nice things to say about your music and song since he's understands it better on a professional level! Thanks for writing and good luck with your career! :-)
