Hi Amy, Just wanted to say Thank You For the Endorsement!
reviewing
Hi Pat. Thank you for the review of 'She Can Fly'. I take on board your comments about the lyrics. I've used a lot of imagery and metaphor there. Glad you like the song. Regards. David
I really do like the song very much. I was just worried that some people would not take the time to think about the imagery and metaphors in our time of instant gratification! Wishing you success with this great song.
Thanks Pat. Much appreciated.
Hi Pat, Thanks for reviewing You're Not Alone. I appreciate your kind comments and feedback! Cheers, Amy
Amy. Your message has come to me, you might want to redirect it to Pat. David
Whoops! Sorry David:)
Hi there JD. Glad you liked Walk in It. YES we do actions all over the place with this one. Hope the fires will soon be out. Been praying for California and its people a lot. Mrs. Kate
Like I said in my review, I would say that Walk in It has become one of my absolute favorite song I have heard from you so far. You and your music always leaves such a joyous impression and ignites motivation. Thank you so much, we were fortunate that the fires were not near us this time. We have been sending us much love and support as we possibly can for all those affected.
Good. Same here for hurricane Michael victims
And thanks for the compliment. Thanks be to God for giving me the gift and the ability to share it!
Hi JD, Thanks so much for the positive review and feedback on I Wanna Know How It Works! Yes - it's a busy song would really benefit from vid to go with, perfect for TV. Congratulations on your Zoomars release! Cheers, Amy
Hi Veronica, Thanks for the VERY nice review of my piano instrumental of my song, "Earth River". There is a version with lyrics and a fuller production, if you are interested. That said, hope you have a VERY Happy Thanksgiving! Chet Nichols
HI Veronica. Thanks for your review on Speed of Life. Your comments are much appreciated.
Hi Veronica, Thanks for the review! I enjoyed your How Could You - reminds me of an early Blondie song! Cheers, Amy !
Hello Amy! Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and rate my new song "Waltzing Between Lying Dreams"! I really appreciate your support. All the best!
HI Kate. Thanks so much for the review of 'Speed of Life' I had no idea how accomplished a Musician you must me with 200 + children's songs to your credit. In answer to your question about the song, the guitars (acoustic & electric) are real queued to a Yeti mic in stereo mode (recorded separately of course :-) The drums and sax are VST's using a MIDI input with a MIDI keyboard.
Okay, dumb question. What does VST stand for?
VST = Virtual Studio Technology which is the defacto standard for creating effects as well as virtual instruments when connecting your MIDI device (usually a keyboard but they make MIDI guitars) Supported in all the DAW's = Digital Audio Worstation. You name the DAW and it will support VST pluggins. A few DAWs that come to mind are: Protools, Cubase, Appleton Live, (Audacity which is free http://www.audacity.com 1 ) Here's a Wikipedia link on VST's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtu al_Studio_Technology Here's another link on the 10 best DAW's for 2018 according to this source. FYI, Cakewalk Sonar supposedly now free so I'll be checking it out. I hope this helps. https://ehomerecordingstudio.com/be st-daw-software/
Here's the correct link to Audacity. https://sourceforge.net/projects/au dacity/
Thanks! That's more info than I needed. I'm not a techie, but my producer is. I just write and play the songs on my guitar. He is a protools guy. Thanks for educating me!
Hi, Kate: Here's the link to my "Monday Morning" song: http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?play_file=3624_9293_2 1 Enjoy!
Pete, I believe you posted to my comment board not Kate's. SPG~Man
Very sorry about that. Happy Holidays!
Hi Mrs. Kate, It's so nice to meet you here at Broadjam! It's so wonderful to see another children's artist out here really making things happen and with such a large catalog of wonderful songs! Wishing you the very best! Thank you for reviewing one of mine too!!! Cheers, Amy

You're Welcome Greg!
Thanks for the stars for Wish For Snow Chet! I too am listening to holiday music and LOVE your Spirit of Christmas! Read your bio - man you get around and have some really great stuff in your catalog. Wishing you the very best!
Thanks! Check out my song, "My Town At Christmas".... funny tune .... about a town with its own brand of "characters".......tell me what you think!
Ho Ho Ho, Love it! Esp the pastor with the violin:) Really fun! Thx for sharing
Oddly enough, I can't find anyone interested in the song...or "The Spirits Of Christmas".....
Well dang! Keep trying! Look up holiday in the opportunities - I thought I saw one for a library marketing to tv/film
Hey, what is your email?
asotey@gmail.com - yes let's chat!
PS You need to capitalize the "O" in your last name on your listing......also, look up Mrs. Kate at Broadjam...you two will go together like "peas and carrots".
Done and thanks I will look her up!
Hi Amy, Hey, welcome to Broadjam! Also, thanks fro the nice review of my song, "If You Were They And They Were You". It comes from my 1975 album, "Taxi To Tonganoxie". So, it is an old recording done at Wally Heider's in SF and produced and engineered by Stephen Barncard. I had quite a back-up band on that track: Spencer Dryden on drums, Buddy Cage on pedal steel and Pete Sears on bass....all members of the SF elite artists back then and still today. Hope you have great and continued success! Best, Chet Nichols PS Please, feel free to stop by my site at Broadjam and enjoy more music...if you are interested.
Fabulous! And thanks for friending me Chet. Since I'm new here, I'd love to know how your experience has been. Have you submitted a lot? Anything picked up yet? Been here long? Y'know, the usual stuff lol Amy
Hello steve thanks for the review of Lima beans. It's kind of outdated now but I still sing it. Mrs Kate
Hi Steve, Thanks so much for the positive review of Lights Are Always On In Nashville! I really appreciate the feedback. Of course I'd love to license it. It's really encouraging to see that you have succeeded with some licensing too. I will keep plugging lol. Cheers, Amy
