Guitarist Chris Montgomery was classically guitarist and clarinettist. He has performed at the DuMaurier Jazz Festival and the world famous Festival International de Jazz de Montreal. He is also a composer, arranger, producer and educator.

Chris spent many years working in marketing for BMG Entertainment before venturing into the new world of digital music where was involved in the development of MP3.com and the first on-demand music subscription service on the Internet in 2000.

Guitarist Chris Montgomery was classically trained at the Universities of Western Ontario and Toronto on guitar and clarinet. He has performed at the DuMaurier Jazz Festival and the world famous Festival International de Jazz de Montreal. He is also a composer, arranger, producer and educator.

Chris spent many years working in marketing for BMG before venturing into the new world of digital music where was involved in the development of MP3.com.

Chris has performed with Joe Pass, Phil Nimmons, Oscar Peterson, Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass, Sammy Nestico, Bob Magnusson, Bill Tole and Howie Mandell. Chris currently lives in Encinitas, CA and plays D'Angelico, Manuel Contreras II and Larrivee guitars. He also plays Buffet clarinets.
