www.cedrikmichel.com Cedrik Michel was born in the twentieth century and will die in the twenty first century… A British citizen, Cedrik Michel was brought up in Paris, France.
At 17 years old he formed his first Rock band which he named Les Enfants De La Patrie (The Children Of The Country) after the French anthem… The first CD : La Confiture Aux Cochons (Jam For Pigs) was produced by the band and distributed by New Rose (The Clash).
After two years on the road, the group separated and Cedrik went to live in London where he sang and played with various bands, learning and perfecting his trade, while working on the radio (Chelsea & Westminster) and on television (Channel 4) as a presenter, in front of and behind the cameras… Cedrik Michel was one of the first artists to be offered a deal with Peoplesound.com, for the promotion of his songs on the internet.
In January 2005 a new CD Democradura was released : twelve original rock songs with lyrics in English, French and Spanish. (The CD is available on the artist’s official website : www.cedrik-michel.com)
Cedrik Michel now lives in Spain. His largest concert this year was in Spain, at the Benamocarra Football Ground (5000 people), opening for Sergio Contreras.
