TopazThyme is a husband and wife songwriting and home studio music production team comprised of Bunny Relerford Walker and Durwood Walker. Our primary music genre is jazz; vocal and instrumental. Bunny is the primary vocalist. Her style has been described by listeners as being reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, and other classic female jazz vocalists.

While focusing largely on jazz, we also are currently adding Contemporary  Christian and Hip Hop to our selections.

Hi, I had a quick trip through your excellent songs. Regrettably, jazz is genre I'm not familiar with, however, there is a lovely cool vibe to the songs. I particularly enjoyed the vocals which sound wonderfully relaxed.
There's not a lot to see in your profile, it would be great to know more about you. For a starter, do I call you Topaz, who is the vocalist and who plays what instruments?

Hello, Bob. Sorry we've taken so long getting back to you. Thanks for your positive remarks. We are, in a word, TopazThyme. Bunny, my wife is Topaz And I, Durwood, am Thyme. So please call us TopazThyme. Bunny is the primary vocalist, though I do a few songs that might be male-specific.

I am a former upright jazz double bassist. Most of what you hear is computer/software assisted and generated.
