“…top-notch in every respect - the writing, playing, singing, recording - everything.” — Performing Songwriter, 2006

When dumb luck spared him from getting on doomed Flight 93 from Newark to San Francisco on September 11, 2001, Brian Kingston traded in a high-powered job on Wall Street for a career as a singer-songwriter that he feels he was destined to have. His debut album was recorded with some of the best session players in the business - musicians who have previously worked with Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and Bruce Hornsby. The album has earned Kingston comparisons to David Gray and Mayer, and even a modern-day Billy Joel.

Currently living in Dave Matthews’ hometown of Charlottesville, VA, Kingston’s songs are now spun on over 70 college radio stations on the East Coast, in a major motion picture with Amanda Peet, and a Cable TV show. His live act turned heads during a showcase spot at the 2005 Delaware Music Conference and a recent hurricane benefit at NYC’s Knitting Factory.
