December 4th, 1983, that's when it all happened, Demetrius Warren came into this world kickin' and screamin'. They say we all come here with a mission, right? Well for D. Warren kickin' down studio doors and screaming the expletives of a young black man born & raised on Detroit's grimy Northend must have been his. Everybody's got a story to tell, but everybody doesn't quite know how to tell it. Demetrius Warren does though. He sings and raps so just call him a triple threat 'cause he's street savvy too. Just by looking at Mr. Warren you'd think, "Fat Boyz-reinvented." But he's more than that. He's passion and rhythm and soul personified. He's everything that goes on down here in the trenches shaped and formed into an mc with such lyrical prowess you'd think he's been here before. See, D. Warren is one of those wise ol' souls whose submergence into the poverty and violence stricken Detroit ghetto has spawned this: a current project soundtracked by kickin' bass and hot 16's that scream volumes about what it means to live and survive in the 'hood'.
