Real (Born In Southwest Houston on September 2, 1986 as "Marcus W Simpson") has been in the underground Houston and Galveston County, Texas Rap Scene since 2001. After an early parent split, initiation into gang-life, introduction to drugs, a debilitating depression and constantly hustling in his city, he started building a studio to express his view of the streets over self made beats. Now, 8 years into his career as a ghetto poet, comes the Long Awaited Album "Real - Heart of the Hood". Hooked up with South Park Coalition Leaders and Houston Rap Game Legends such as K-Rino & Klondike Kat. as well as many G-County Veterans and Upcomers on the Features List. His CD "Heart of the Hood" Hits the Streets Hard, Uncut, and Unforgiving. A Must Buy for anyone real, and definitely for anyone who supports real rap. In Real's words "Gotta Keep The Dream Alive."

Real's Life
Hard Truthful Toungue- Flippin' Lyrics Over Gangsta Beats Made Straight From the Streets of the Dirty South - It's 100% "REAL"
Real (Born In Southwest Houston on September 2, 1986 as "Marcus W Simpson") has been in the underground Houston and Galveston County, Texas Rap Scene since 2001. After an early parent split, initiation into gang-life, introduction to drugs, a dehabilitating depression and constsantly hustling in his city, he started building a studio to express his view of the streets over self made beats. Early Hit's like "Dickinson" (A Song About his hometown) from his 1st Mixtape "How It Goes" Quickly established Him as a professional lyricist during his Highschool days. Later on the song "Friends" from his 1st Official Release "The Truth Hurts", and the Classics "Save Me Please", "Rest of My Days", and "One By One" from his 2nd Album "Wicked City Don" gained him popularity for his insight on overcoming the harsh realites that less fortunate society deals with on a daily basis.
