"Her sultry, silky voice spreads across the room like a lush, warm blanket of velvet and ably pays homage to the composers and performers who made those songs so unforgettable in the first place."
~Albuquerque Journal, 5/7/04
Bernadette Seacrest has been an explosive voice on the Albuquerque music scene since 2001. Co-heading The Long Goners, Bernadette cut her teeth on a rockabilly/country style that was as authentic as it was refreshing. Continuing to discover her own voice, Bernadette went farther back in genre to explore a purer jazz vocal form. In 2002 Bernadette began working with David Parlato on a vocal-and-bass-only style that is unique. In early 2004 she also began performing with The Yes Men -- which finds her gorgeous vocals backed by bass, drums, saxophone & trombone.
