The tracks on Mystical Madness bounce between emotive balladry and sultry rockers. Scroggins' impressive vocals (which gracefully flow from an intimate purr to a soaring bellow) and lyrics are a consistent highlight

Probably the first thing that you feel something for is Belinda's voice. It's a colorful, dark, bluesy, emotive vehicle for her contemplative lyrics and songs. She reminds me of Sheryl Crow, but a deeper voice, and a bit darker of a sound.

Hey isnt that Belinda Scroggins
Belinda has been working as a musician in the Cincinnati Area on and off for the last 25 years. She was in several cover bands during the 80's. Then became a wedding DJ for 12 years. In the mid 90's she decided to embark on a solo acoustic career and began playing extensively in the Cincinnati area. In 2001 she recorded a CD of original music.
Her CD "Mystical Madness" is a blend of rock and blues. Her songwriting is intimate and introspective. When she sings ballads her voice can be heart wrenching but when she rocks, she has an edge that is reminiscent of Janis Joplin. Rarely is there a performer that can bridge this gap and do it well.
