Bek Ofis
Bek Ofis is a music project of Jan J. Nedved and his musical guests. Established firstly as a pop/rock band in 2002, it became a „real" thing in mid 2005 when they overcame all necessary troubles. During the first two years Bek Ofis created awareness among young people, radios and other media mainly in Prague, Czech Republic where we also come from.
The music is characterized as pop/rock which is the main field but sometimes you can notice some britpop or even folk influence. It´s not about playing selected genre, we want to do what is inside of us, what we feel and also to have fun! And to entertain! Maybe Robbie Williams could help us with that...
Success came gradually over the two years. Over 40 gigs were performed at famous venues in Prague and also in Budapest-Hungary, Bratislava-Slovakia and Wien-Austria. Later on, our first single „Get Away" hit third place at Eurohitparade.com, got much airtime at major Prague´s radios as well as the second single „For the truth you must fight" and finally we became a runner-up at Radio Beat´s music contest.
Last year we released our first album called "For The Truth You Must Fight". The whole album received fairly high scores from professional press. Nowadays our music is broadcasted at major Czech radio stations such as CRo Radiozurnal, Bonton, Expres, Radio 1, Wave, RockJam, FajnRock, Proglas etc. The hit single "For The Truth You Must Fight" received an award of "track of the week" at garageband.com during May 2008 with an average rank of 4.8 out of 5.
