Story Behind The Song
I wanted to compose a traditional old school Country Waltz. I came up with the idea, of having this cowboy, sitting around by himself and blowing all his quarters on a juke box. He lost his girl friend and can you imagine how empty his pockets and his heart is, to do this all day? The only company he is left with, are the songs he hears and the Juke Box!
Song Description
Leave it to this Country boy, to blow all his doe on an old Country Juke box that he can not afford! His girl friend left him for really no reason, as he turns to the Lord as to what to do. He even asks the Lord to make the Juke box free!

Lyrics
VERSE ONE
THE JUKE BOX, IS PLAYING, MY FAVORITE SONG SO O' LORD PLEASE TELL ME, WHERE'D I GO WRONG?
CAUSE I AM, THE ONLY ONE, SINGING BY MYSELF, PUTTING ALL MY QUARTERS IN THE JUKE BOX, LOSING MY CHANGE AND WEALTH!
BRIDGE
MOST LONELY MEN SAVE THEIR CHANGE FOR THE LAUNDRY, OTHERS PLAY PINBALL AND SLOT. BUT I PUT MY QUARTERS IN AN OLD COUNTRY JUKE BOX, AND I APPRECIATE WHAT I'VE GOT!
VERSE TWO
AND MY JUKE BOX IS PLAYING, OLD SONGS WITH THE NEW, BUT O' LORD PLEASE TELL ME, WHAT SHOULD I DO? CAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD, THE OVERHEAD, THIS MACHINE COSTS ME, PUTTING ALL MY QUARTERS IN THE JUKE BOX, LORD CAN'T YOU MAKE IT FREE!
BRIDGE TWO
I HAD A GIRL ONCE, SHE WENT BACK TO TEXAS, SHE PLAYED THE JUKE BOX YOU SEE. BUT I MISSED A HIGH NOTE, IN A LOVE SONG I WROTE HER, THEN SHE SAID (OR-IV-WAH) BACK TO ME!
VERSE THREE
AND MY JUKE BOX, MY JUKE BOX, COME SING ALONG. BUT BRING LOTS OF QUARTERS, THEN FIND A SONG. CAUSE HAPPINESS, WILL COST YOU SOME, MY PHILOSOPHY,PUTTNG ALL MY QUARTERS IN THE JUKE BOX, MUSIC'S MY COMPANY!
PUTTING ALL MY QYARTERS IN THE JUKE BOX, COME SING ALONG WITH ME!
