Story Behind The Song
I lost my brother Lloyd in a plane crash several years ago. I wrote and sang this song at his funeral. Maybe it will bring others hope.

Lyrics
I've got to Believe
Words and Music by: Bryan D. Jones
I don't know why
Why, when life had just begun
God would take someone so young
To His hideaway
I just can't say
I can't say how
How when this world seems so dark
We can live without your spark
That shined so bright
In the darkest night
Chorus:
But I've got to believe
Even in the pain there's grace received
I've got to believe
Even though, you're gone today
In the Father's hands, you'll safely stay
I've got to believe
I don't know why
Why you never could go grey
Kiss your wife on your wedding day
Raise a family
I just can't see
I can't see how
How we're supposed to carry on
Without your arms to hold us strong
In a warm embrace
See your smiling face
Chorus:
Bridge:
There's a time under heaven
For sadness and tears
A time to weep a time to mourn
A time when we must say goodbye
But there's a God up in heaven
Who dries every tear
A Father, who loves his children
Who built them a home
Where they belong
Chorus: That's Why...
