Story Behind The Song

There's nothing better than Christmas songs and having new originals to add to the classic repertoire is what drove me to write this.

Song Description

This song is meant to be a classic holiday song about wanting to be home for Christmas. In the verses it lists all the things that you remember doing in the past and what is compelling you to go home to be with you family and loved ones. It's got a gospel feel that could be ramped up by a grander production, but it also works as the simple piano/vocal performance presented here. The production could easily have a gospel choir that really brings it to another level. The song has good bones to work with.
