Annah, Got a chance to listen to your work. My favorite: "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea". It makes me think of Quentin Tarantino movies. It's raw and emotive. You have a unique vocal delivery that has the potential of becoming a signature sound. Work on your phrasing (Think Frank Sinatra), and just have fun experimenting with different intonations (tone, pitch. Think of the way Miles Davis played his trumpet). I'm sure that you'll have no problem developing it into something awesome. Good going! Yuri
Thank you, Yuri! I think I need voice lessons, but am flattered by your words. And I agree with you on Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea. If you know Mr. Tarantino, please push it his way. :) Peace and best of luck, Annah
Thanks so much for taking the time to review "Farewell My Love". You have offered some great insight and suggestions. The instrument sound was an experiment, a hybrid of guitar and harp and you're right. I've also felt that it's a bit too grating. I'll have to work on that. Great school, Berklee. Good luck!
Thanks, Yuri! I'm glad the feedback was helpful and enjoyed hearing your music. Best of luck to you too!
