Mel Scott is an accomplished Composer/Arranger, Producer and Performer with more than 150 published compositions. In his unique career, he has amassed an impressive resume. Mel began performing while in high school and after attending Berklee College of Music traveled extensively performing and recording with Volo-Volo, The Skunks, The Delfonics, Barbara Morrison, Roseanne Barr & the Dixx, Zion Initiation, The Flying Camels, Rian Basillo & the Roosters, Kingston a Go Go, LaTina Webb, BackBeat Brawlers, GTG Project and Peter White. Performing with Peter White they received the 2012 - 2013 Billboard and Groove City Smooth Jazz song of the year for the song "Here We Go". Mel working with his musical partner Gabriel the Gun co-founded the super group the BackBeat Brawlers and is currently writing and recording material for that band.
