Paul Myer Hopkins
Paul Myer Hopkins is an accomplished brass and percussion performer and award winning composer. Having been surrounded with music since childhood, composing has always been a creative extension to his musical life.
His original works for wind band have premiered at music festivals around the world. His most recent composition "Anatolian Sketches" was premiered at the 2010 International Honor Band and Choir Festival in Ankara, Turkey.
Paul Myer Hopkins has nearly 20 years of experience composing for Film and Television using the latest music sampling technology to create music tracks of the highest quality. From orchestral emulation to modern electronica, jazz and world fusion, his music has appeared in radio, TV, animation series and feature films. In 2009, he received two nominations from the Hollywood Music and Media Awards held at the Kodak Theatre Complex, where his composition entitled "Desert Fortress" won in the Best World category.
