I am a lifelong fan of country music, along with other genres including Christian, Classis Rock, Bluegrass, and Pop. I write mostly country songs, with a few Christian and Comedy songs thrown in. I am not an accomplished musician, but I do play a little guitar and banjo. I have won a couple of lyric writing contests sponsored by American Songwriter Magazine, and Just Plain Folks. I have been priviledged to meet artists, and others in the music industry, and to have made a few friends in Nashville over the past few years. I am currently hoping to get some cuts by major artists. One of my co-writers and I have a cd out called Rookie Season, by The Backstretch Boys.
