Ted Mentry and his band released two albums in the early eighties to high critical acclaim, (Illustrated Victims in 1981 and Artful Dodger in 1984) and quickly became the darlings of the Rocky Mountain music scene. After constant touring and a relentless live schedule, Ted Mentry, who had opened for everyone from Firefall to Lynyrd Skynyrd, left for a short sabbatical that spanned 15 years.
