Review by My Texas Music
We welcome Eddie Reddic to our ever-growing family of Gospel artists. Texas Music is not complete without those artists who sing these wonderful tunes. Not only does Eddic Reddic deliver a great collection of Christian music, he also writes the majority of the tracks on "HE ACCEPTED ME." (Reddic Records) the fabulous debut release from the native Houstonian now residing in Northeast Texas. Reddic sets the tone for the album with the opening track, which is also the title track. This blend of Southern Gospel messages and flawless R&B instrumental create a feel-good listening atmosphere that keeps the toes tapping and the heart swelling. Reddic's tribute to his grandmother on "My Grandmother's Eyes" is heart-warming, and the instrumental "Good God Almighty!" will leave you filled with pure joy. Eddie delivers a personal message to the listener at the beginning of his arrangement of the traditional "God Be With You," which crescendos to the album's innovative conclusion. If you're a Gospel music fan, and you like an R&B feel, this is the disc for you. If you are one with the Christian belief, you will receive great joy from this project. If not, I can only say that this would make a great introduction to the Christian Faith. And to the Church of the Living God, P.G.T., your faithful son has done well.
