Shay's distinct music style varies from smoky down and dirty blues to soft sultry sounds from the soul. Currently, on her up and coming album "Through the Fire", several songs are receiving international airplay and licensing.
She has been a consistent Blues and R&B chart topper on Garageband.com,Indie-music.com and Broadjam.com earning her a larger international fan base and exposure. Shay has published works with Thomas Nelson Publishing and Aknackformusic based in Nashville and is presently included in MamaPUBlooza Publishing catalog, Blue Pie Productions and Audiosparx.
Shay is the 2006 Music Aid International Music Awards winner for the Best Female Solo Artist category and will be included on Music Aid?s compilation CD. Shay was one of the top 5 vocalists in the Singer Universe Best Vocalist of the month contest in Dec. 2006 and January 2007
Shmusicmusic is featuring Shay as the first artist on their compilation disc that will be presented at Midem, France January 2007. Research Music has added Shay to their 2007 compilation CD.
