Roam is the electronic musician scoring the thoughts & feelings of Gen Y. His introspective UK Garage influenced music tackles some of the most prominent themes of millennial life such as finding reciprocated love & affection, loneliness, mental health & dying friendships in an age of hyper-connectivity. His debut album REMNANTS arrived on Noisey solidifying claims made by the staff at Now Toronto that he was bringing uk garage to Toronto. Aside from Noisey staff comparing him to legendary electronic music pioneer Burial, REMNANTS also garnered high praise from Exclaim Mag staff who noted that Roam has both a "gorgeous touch" & a "finely crafted pop sensibility".
Roam's "DEPTHS" EP is an achingly personal & immensely dense body of work in which he conveys the pain he endured during a 3 year struggle with depression, anxiety & poor emotional/mental health. The EP also features Roam revealing more of his musicality with the addition of lush downtempo textures & guitars.
