This Years Blonde is Kiki du Parre. He is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, engineer & short filmaker. With the exception of an occasional female vocal, every sound that is heard on a This Years Blonde recording was made & conceptualized by him. A true solo project for a modern audio/visual artist!
Kiki's vocals vary from rich, melodic baritone, to soaring tenor. His sound ranges from rock & gothic to industrial dance grooves, (with just a little pop sensability thrown in for good measure.) We call his sound "Rock Erotic", because of the images and emotions he portrays & evokes.
