Originally inspired as a little kid by my Dad and Charlie Watts from the Rolling Stones, I wanted to be a musician since I could talk. I took up piano at 6, and I've been rockin' ever since! A self-taught guitar player, dobro picker, mandolin strummer, and occasional singer, I spend my free time jamming when I can. Some of the wonderful groups that helped me walk the musician's path are The Band, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Canned Heat, Chuck Berry, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull, Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna, Howlin' Wolf, J.J. Cale, Johnny Winter, John Lennon's solo career, John Lee Hooker, Little Feat, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Roy Buchanan, Steppenwolf, Ten Years After, Tom Waits, and Weird Al Yankovic. I guess you can say these groups are instrumental in my life..... ha ha ha.
