Hi Hunter, Thank you so much for such a nice review of "Slinky Armor", my smooth jazz tune with an edge. You were very complementary and although I LOVE IT, it also makes be blush a bit. I reside in Los Angels but I travel a lot as I play drums for a famous Iranian singer named Googoosh so I do get around. However, unfortunately not down to South Africa. Yes I did the mix myself, I produced the entire track from the idea through the recording process and I scrutinize every note and every passage down the final note. I have my own studio and many other selections that I think you would also enjoy. You have a well trained ear to hear all the details placed so well in this piece. I am so glad you liked it, thanks for the great score! Let's collaborate.... I am pretty busy these days but I record everything from my studio and specialize in drums and rhythm tracks. So nice of you to give me such a great review.... perhaps you hear a vocal to this song?? I could always mute the guitar and try for a lead vocal. It would totally fit your style. You tell me what you think, if you're inspired we can do something together on that song... "Slinky Armor', of course we could rename it. Hi Hunter, thank you for your review of just can't talk about it, Your right it is a verry rough demo , I'm just hoping the idea of the song is clear and someone will say"let me make something out of this"since I don't have the right tools or knowledge to do so.But thanks your comments are verry usefull. Hi Renate, it's a pleasure, I own two record labels in South Africa, a recording studio and part of a publishing company. We will glady give advise where we can. Been a singer/ musician myself I know comments from people in the industry help a lot. Look we don't always hear what we want but take what we can and use it to better our production.
