Jacquelyn was born in Los Angeles, California, raised in Miami, Florida and currently divides her time between the two coasts.
She is a singer and songwriter, lyricist and storyteller. Jacquelyn began writing song lyrics and performing with her band, "Sandalwood" when she caught the attention of Grammy-winning music producer and Billboard's Producer of the Decade for 2010, Rudy Perez. The two began a fruitful collaboration, pairing Jacquelyn's lyrics with Perez's compositions beginning with her inaugural solo effort, "If You Should Leave Me" and "Together Forevermore." She also wrote lyrics for Perez's "I'm Done," and will lend her vocals to this collaboration for her second album currently in production. Her first album, "The Kiss," which she self-published in January, '14, is a collection of upbeat, country-pop tunes together with covers from a few of her favorite artists.
