APEisAPE is a 4-piece new age prog-punk rock band inspired and influenced by the likes of:
Husku Du, Pixies, Stooges, Black Sabbath, Bowie, Devo, Ramones, Bad Religion, AC/DC and the Beatles.
Originally from NZ, APEisAPE currently loiters around Melbourne. They started as a duo with Karl (guitarist,vox), Rick (bass) and a drum machine. After luring Tim from Auckand they recruited Mike (ex-Batteryland ) to play drums.

For the past year they have been playing around Melbourne, entertaining crowds at such venues as the Tote, Arthouse, House of Fools, Armadale, Bondi’s Barn, Sugar Suite and the Duke of Windsor. The band has recently completed an 11-song CD that was recorded and produced in their back shed for the pricely sum of $120 - which is available at all gigs.

They often try not to drink too much and sometimes remember how to play their instruments.
