I am a songwriter based in the UK.
My process involves listening to chart music and using that to influence my tracks.
As I am using chart music a good percentage of my tracks are teen / tween orientated.
Track influences include One Direction (check out Gimme Time), Taylor Swift and Justin Beiber
Songwriters I admire include Shellback and Max Martin.
I have taken a lot of time trying to improve my song writing skills with a view to writing tracks that use chart music as an influence.
As a result I can take any track, use the feel, production and groove and compose something that could remind the listener of that particular genre.
