Naked

Corday's first release! Naked received critical acclaim from the OC Register and was named one of the Top Ten Albums of the Year by the LA Times! Singer Songwriter Jennifer Corday started out singing solo in coffee houses and formed her first band, Corday and the Curious, in 1997. Corday wrote all ten songs on the album, which received critical acclaim from the OC Register and was named one of the Top 10 Albums of the year in the LA Times. The band featured bassist Robby Trujillo, drummer Kyle and lead guitarist Rick Weller. The album was produced and recorded by the band at Robby Trujillo's studio RT Productions in Anaheim, CA. Corday was inspired to write "Jealous Eyes" after the OJ Simpson trial. The song is about domestic violence and Corday received thanks from the Nicole Brown foundation and many other women's organizations. The received airplay across the nation and is still a crowd favorite. "Back To Reality" is about drug addiction and was the first in a series of drug-free songs Corday was inspired to write after seeing friends and family struggle with drug abuse. "Jump Start," "Water Under The Bridge," and Don't Run," are great toe-tappers with brilliant lyrics, while "Let Me Bleed" captures Corday brooding and demanding. "If You Left" and "Naked" are beautiful ballads featuring Corday on the cello, and capture a performance of this seasoned rocker a younger more vulnerable place.
