Songwriter/Composer - been writing for my own pleasure for a long time but have now decided to see if there is a place for my songwriting 'out there'! Also have recently taken an online course in basic music production with PointBlank in London which has enabled me to produce reasonable demos for the first time. Im not a performer/singer (thank god for pitch correction software!) just a guy who loves music and loves writing.
My music is mainly pop - sometimes with a country twist but hate labelling myself as I write in whatever style inspires me at the time.
Have entered the UK Songwriting Competition this year - first time ever entering a music competition - will be interesting to see what happens.

I have just found out that I achieved 2 x semi-finalist positions and 1 x Finalist position in the UK Songwriting Competition.

I am over the moon with these results as this is the first music competition I have entered and this has really boosted my confidence!
