A good song can always be a hit, but not all hit songs are great songs. I try to write music which is different. I try to not limit myself to a single genre - It is interesting and challenging to write and record different styles of music. My influences include Dylan, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. I love the stories that country music tells, and how that music has changed and today crosses so many different areas. I am challenged by taking a good song and recording it it a way that is is different and original. I have had my music recorded in country, pop and modern rock styles. I would like to write hip-hop some day, and am working on that!
