His background also consists of writing lyrics, music notation, and sound design. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, he has adopted many influences from gospel, rnb, hip hop, reggae, soul and smooth jazz. As versatile as he is, JBlongz strives to think out of the box and delves into other genres that an average producer wouldn't think of.
