LEWIS FLINN grew up a classical pianist; and was lead singer /songwriter for the East-Village rock band, Acoustic Blue.
He has written musicals with Douglas Carter Beane, Steven Sater, and Brian Crawley. "The Winner" , with Joe Sutton, will open at the Lyric Stage in Dallas, TX in 2007.
Flinn has composed scores for over 50 productions around the country including the Broadway production of "The Littel Dog Laughed", and the Off-Broadway hit "Die Mommie Die" Lincoln Center Theatre, 2nd Stage Theatre, the Geffen Playhouse (LA), The Cleveland Playhouse, The Old Globe (San Diego), Hartford Stage Co., Playwrights Horizons, and has been a guest artist at Cornell and Dartmouth.
He has written scores for dozens of national commercials - including campaigns for Microsoft, the AFL-CIO, and Life Cereal . In the fashion world, his original music - under the pseudonym "Flash" is consistently featured in the “7th on 6th� runway shows.
He graduated from Princeton University.
