Devolving Messiah was formed in the summer of 2011 by Cody Steinman (ex-bassist), Alex Rausa (guitar, vocals) Chris Rodriguez (ex-vocalist) and Kyle Rack (drums). In early 2012 Devolving Messiah replaced vocalist Chris Rodriguez with Steve Wilson and went on to release their EP - To Crucify humanity. Later in the year bassist Cody Steinman left the band and was replaced by Ryan Bero as well as the addition of a second guitarist Jay Hernandez. This new lineup has helped to create an insanely powerful five piece and the new upcoming album Forsaken "Our music is far from the normal death metal of today, we have clashed many styles of metal together to create an intense form of what we call technical blackened death metal."
