Forged through pain, fueled by survival, and driven by the refusal to surrender, Deflecting Ghosts creates music that hits as hard emotionally as it does sonically. Hailing from Hutchinson, Kansas, this alternative metal/hard rock trio features Luke Fitzgerald (vocals/guitar), Rhema Fitzgerald (bass), and Jeremy Burnett (drums).

Our new single, “Out of the Grave,”I wrote this song shortly before suffering a heart attack and being diagnosed with severe heart failure. It became deeply personal as I fought to keep living and making music. It releases October 9, just two days after my ICD surgery, giving the title more meaning than I ever expected.
