Aloha,

My name is Darla Clay, I have lived in Hawaii 48 years, I was brought to the shores of Waikiki when I was 5 years old. I have played music since I was 7 on and of and then decided I wanted to be a songwriter when I was 23. I have been writing music for 30 years It is something I will do forever. I have compiled some of my best together and rocrded it at True Sound Recording Studios on the Big Island of Hawaii for the past 2 years. I am interested in a publishing deal, but will be happy for whatever if anything materializes. I write with a soft rock, bluesy, sometimes ballad or just rock style. I love good lyrical poetry with something to say, some of my favorite artists and teachers are Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Bernie Taupin, Elton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Clapton, Beatles, Billie Holiday, etc. Anyway that's me in a nutshell, my instrument is the piano.
