When asked what was it like working under the tutelage of one of Motown's greats, Norman Whitfield, Mark Kenoly, producer of the cd, sat back in his chair, looked up at the ceiling and smiled wistfully. "The fascinating thing about that time period," he began "was that we did not think about our impact on musical history, we were just happy to be getting paid to play music all the time."
