I am a singer songwriter, producer, and recording engineer. I have one debut album to date with a second album on the way. I have produced many albums for other artists and I specialize in pop, r&b, rock, and singer songwriter productions.

Biography

If there was any one actually born to be a musician, it was Andrew Greacen. As an infant his parents would put headphones on him and play records. His early jazz influences definitely come through in his recorded work, combined with a groovy mix of acoustic, soul, R&B and pop. Anyone who knows Andrew will tell you, he's a do-it-yourself musician. Although, someday, he hopes to have a manager, he has an impressive understanding for personal engagement and the necessity to spend a good amount of time "stirring the pot." Dan Mastronardi, a concert promoter and owner of Hollerback Productions in Syracuse, NY, put it fairly bluntly, but with pinpoint precision, "If every musician acted like Andrew, there would not be a need for managers, kid's got heart."

When Andrew isn't working in the recording studio, where he is employed as an Engineer, he is booking and playing as many shows as he can. He also works at an independent coffee shop in Syracuse. He is currently in pre-production for a video of his song "Sunshine," for which he is shutting down an entire street to film. In addition to working with his colleagues to choreograph the dances for the video, he is already writing music for his next album, though there is no solid release date. Andrew still takes vocal and guitar lessons, and works recording music for other bands on a daily basis at More Sound Studios in Syracuse, NY. According to Jason Randall, owner of the studio where Andrew works, "Andrew Greacen is an absolute professional who knows how to find the sweet spot between artistic vision and practical know-how. He has wisely taken lessons from years of performing music and applied those skills to a broad range of endeavors: composition, engineering, production, and music for film. I am proud to be associated with him." He and his band members are also organizing an online live-stream feature for their next show.

After graduating college in 2004 Andrew took a few years off from music. But after a few different jobs he found that he needed it in his life. He hired some of the most talented musicians in the area to help with his record idea: long time Jazz enthusiast Evan Knight plays the saxophone; multi-instrument player and songwriter Liz Strodel; Max McKee on guitar and bass; Tom Bronzetti on guitar; and Will Tobin on the piano. Each one of these musicians has the resume of a seasoned veteran a lifetime into the business yet they are all still fairly young. The influences from each individuals personal work show through energetically in Andrew Greacen's album, "Soul Searching," with astonishing ease. Though they each have personal projects and work, they clearly have a dedicated professional attitude toward getting together and producing pure flowing music.
