Bio
Barry Stoffberg was born in Cape Town, South Africa in May 1972. Because of the laws of apartheid under the white controlled former goverment quality music education was not available at most public schools as the so called "non- white schools" where Barry received education received very little goverment funding. Barry taught himself to play the piano starting at age 9 and joined his first band as a keyboardist at 14 years old.At age 19 he progressed to playing professionally in the South African live music scene and soon grew to become a formidable in demand live and session keyboard player in the City of Cape Town South Africa.He attended Music Colledge for one year and left colledge to pursue a full time carreer in live music and music production.
In his twenties Barry wrote, arranged and produced music for dozens of local artists in Cape Town and began partnering with leading Atlanta based Christian music producer and artist Henry Louw.
After travelling to the United States and Europe in the 1990's as a keyboard artist and music minister Barry decided to permanantly relocate to Florida in the United States. He was the music minister for various churches in Palm Beach County, Florida and played full time for the Ruby Baker band a top cover band based in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Barry now owns a home in Loxahatchee Palm Beach County Florida where he writes, arranges and produces music for local unsigned artists from all over the South Florida region.
