Boston Blues News Review

...Punctuated by beautiful harmonies and intricate guitar, Red, White and Blues is a country blues and folk mix of old standards and originals that would make Mississippi John Hurt and Lead Belly proud...

Blues in Britain Review

Red, White and Blues comes with the sub-title ?blues, gospel and originals done in the tradition of the country blues?, which is a perfect description of the music on offer. O?Herin?s vocals have a natural ambience with these styles, evoking a warmth and sincerity which brings a palpable poignancy to numbers like Hold On, accentuated by her lilting slide and Peter Schneider?s Fender Rhodes keyboard, whilst her own vocals and the harmonies of Vikki True add a strong spiritual feel.

The Promise

There once was a time when I felt so alone, then my Lord said to me,
?No, I?ll never, no never, never no never, never, ever leave thee.?

I hear you call, my love. You?re safe in my arms. I won?t let you fall, my love.
You won?t come to harm.

And I?ll never, no never, never no never, never, ever leave thee.

The King?s bride is glorious within. His beauty adorns her.
His grace is poured into her lips. His love has transformed her.

And He?ll never, never no never, never, ever leave thee.

Fly in Amber

Summer breeze caress so gently,
Soft and warm as a baby?s sigh.
Smells like rain, feels like summer,
I hear goodbyes in the distant thunder.

It?s hard to let go, it?s harder to hold on,
Fearing what?s ahead, longing for what is gone.
Like a fly in amber, captured in time.

My life?s an open door.
People come and people go.
I see starlight in your eyes.
In your arms I?m home.

Yesterday, seemed so timeless, tomorrow just a promise to come.
It?s come and gone now, we?ve learned to mind less,
The bumps in the road, the songs left unsung.

My life?s an open door.
People come and people go.
I see starlight in your eyes.
In your arms I?m home.

Brian's Song

I've been here before. I know I?ll make it through.
This sea of pain has a shore, but I don?t want to make it without you.
They say true love take?s time, And that time heals all wounds,
Time?s the one thing that I?ve got plenty of
I want to spend it, share it with you.

We?re working through who we are, me and you,
And we don?t know, where we?ll end up.
Seeing if there?s enough common ground,
But I do know, I don?t want to give up.

Sometimes in a person?s life,
there is a love that only comes once,
And it lasts for all eternity,
You are that love to me.

Hold On

Hold On, Hold On, Darlin? don't let go,
It?s just a little bit farther, round the bend down the road.
Hold On, Hold On, Don?t you wanna go,
just a little bit farther, round the bend down the road.

You put one foot in front of the other, breathe in, breathe out.
Look up, don?t look down, ?cause that?s not what it?s all about.

Hold on, Hold on, c?mon and take my hand,
Together we can make it, Darlin? to the Promised Land.

Hey Robin,
Frankly, your sound already has a strong identity, which is rare.
But what usually holds artists back at that point isn't the music, it's how everything around it is positioned; branding, PR narrative, and how it's introduced to the right spaces (film, licensing, etc.).

I work with creatives on that side, making sure the music actually opens doors, not just streams.
Have you started exploring that yet?

Hi,

I came across your work on Broadjam and spent some time listening to "Glory Glory", there's a level of artistry and direction in your sound that's not easy to come by.

I work privately with a select number of artists, composers, and producers who are serious about positioning their music beyond traditional releases particularly within the sync and licensing space.

In my experience, many strong catalogs remain under leveraged, not due to a lack of quality, but because they aren't aligned with how music supervisors and licensing platforms actually search, filter, and select material.

My role is to bridge that gap refining catalog presentation, enhancing sync readiness, and ensuring the music is positioned where it holds real commercial value. The goal is simple: to open doors to meaningful placements, strategic partnerships, and long term opportunities.

I'm selective about who I work with, but I believe your sound could translate well in that space.

Out of curiosity, is sync and licensing currently part of your long term strategy, or is your focus elsewhere at the moment?

Best regards,
Rebecca

Hi, I checked out your music and you've got solid potential for sync licensing.
One thing I've noticed working with artists is that even great tracks often get overlooked due to small but critical things like metadata, structure, or licensing readiness.
Do you currently prepare your releases with sync opportunities in mind, or are you mainly focused on streaming and promotion?
Happy to share some insights, you can reply here or email me at belovedsteve760@gmail.com
