2008 finalist with "Like Mona Lisa in a Mirror" and 3 times runner up in "Song of The Year" a monthly event.
2009 finalist with "Tallulah" and 7 times semi-finalist in "UK Songwriting Contest of the Year" a yearly event part of "The Brits".
In the process of completing lyrics for Gary C Huff, New York and shortly "hit songwriters" will make music for some of my lyrics.

The life of Isabel Lavender

Isabel has had an interesting life and career traveled all over the world as a child and had a variety of jobs such as model, miss Denmark finalist, TV presenter, fitness instructor and now also a poet and in the process of writing my autobiography. Furthermore got IB and Bachelor Degree in Business Economy.
Recently discovered through her maiden name Bersabé that she descends from Moorish royalty back to the 15th century when her ancestor Ozman Bersabé (son of Lord Luque Don EGAS from Spain) was captured as a slave at the age of 8 in 1409. Later he obtained the hand of Princess Maryam of the Nasri Dynasty.
She says;
I write about anything that makes me think, smile, sad or personal experiences.
I have not had many meaningful relationships, but I love the idea of love and my vivid imagination enables me to dream and write about it. I guess I am yearning for it despite being a bit of a commitment phobic.
My inspiration can come from anything and when it falls upon me I have to write.
