Marcel Gauthier has been working for years at finding the right sound for his music. ANODE is the name of the project. Funky, yet dark sounding, progressive, yet very accessible music is the aim. Marcel has been known to classify his music as Semi-progressive funk-rock. He hopes that the style of music will be recognized for it's laid back bouncy feels mixed with the tonal sensibilities of metal and rock. Hand percussion/percussive acoustic guitar will be thrown into the mix as well, attracting the university market. Anode has been playing gigs on the north shore of Lake Superior (Relay for life, KG’s, The Apollo).
