Jason co-founded the rock/pop band TDM. Insisting on original music, the female-fronted quintet quickly garnered local attention, appearing on local radio and Eyewitness News. TDM performed extensively in the western NY area.

Jason then co-founded the group, "The Groovy Buddhas" in the Albany area. Their song "Shake Your Butt" earned them significant local college airplay, and the group played extensively in NYC.

Jason co-founded the progressive rock band "Days Before Tomorrow". "Can't Do Anything," received an honorable mention in Billboard Magazine's 14th Annual Songwriting Contest. The song "Sleepwalking" (from the 2009 CD, The Sky Is Falling) received an honorable mention in Billboard Magazine's 15th Annual Songwriting Competition.

The Sky Is Falling was produced by legendary rock producer Ron Nevison, and mixed by Grammy award winning engineer Earl Cohen. The CD won Record of the Year at the 2009 LA Music Awards.
